Ken Trombly is a lifelong magician, who has performed all over the DC Metropolitan area. In 2009 and 2013 he performed close-up strolling magic at the Salute to Heroes Inaugural Balls honoring President Obama.

A former student of a legendary card magician, the late Darwin Ortiz, Ken specializes in magic involving sleight of hand with cards. A trial lawyer by day, Ken combined his legal and magic interests when he testified in a criminal trial as an expert witness concerning card cheating. Further merging these skills, he is the author of “All I needed to know about trying cases I learned from doing magic shows,” an essay that was published in Law and Magic in 2010.

In addition to performing magic at special events, Ken is the owner of magicposters.com, and the author of the recently published “The Art of Magic; A Lifetime of Collecting”.
